From Eco-Anxiety to Action: Youth Voices Rise in Lithuania
In January, the Innovative Generation team led workshops on ecological anxiety for young people at Lentvaris Motiejus Šimelionis Gymnasium.

During four workshops, the young people discovered the phenomenon of ecological anxiety and related factors, explored their feelings, opinions, and knowledge, and asked questions—what would be interesting for young people to learn and discover?

Knowledge is even more valuable when it is shared, so the young people also wrote letters addressed to their peers, interested parties, and politicians. The letters contained information about eco-anxiety, local environmental problems, and advice on what everyone could change.
The workshop is part of the Erasmus+ KA2 project YOUth Creating Action Research on Ecoanxiety (YOU-CARE), no. 2023-2-BG01-KA220-YOU-000171222. The project is funded by the European Union.
